This is highly advanced technical and analytical work in the development, design, configuration, and performance of enterprise data warehouse software solutions for the Commonwealth’s Integrated Enterprise System (IES) SAP Business Warehouse system. An employee in this job is a member of a technical business warehouse team that analyzes enterprise data warehouse needs and models, designs, develops, and implements enterprise data warehouse solutions.
Examples of the work
Serves as a member of a technical business warehouse team for a business operations area to analyze, design, configure, and optimize enterprise data warehouse solutions. Analyzes the requirements and designs the data models to support enterprise data warehouse solutions. Configures the enterprise data warehouse software to support enterprise data warehouse solutions. Coordinates and executes data warehouse and source system integration activities with business functional area specialists, technical specialists and user representatives to ensure that all integration issues and user impacts are considered when developing or modifying enterprise data warehouse solutions.
Minimum qualifications
Two years as an IES Business Warehouse Specialist; or Six years of professional work in data warehousing, database administration, or related field; or Four years of professional work in data warehousing, database administration, or related field, and an associate’s degree in computer science or related discipline; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
