What the state says the job is
Performs master plumber duties and supervises employees in the construction, installation, alteration, maintenance, repair, remodeling or removal, and replacement of plumbing; and performs other duties as required.
Examples of the work
Supervises employees and performs duties in the installation and removal of plumbing lines, pipes and fixtures. Alters existing plumbing systems. Repairs and replaces leaking lines, faucets and plumbing equipment. Installs plumbing lines and valves to boilers and heating equipment. Inspects lines, fixtures and equipment to determine repairs. Inspects completed work. Reads blueprints and specifications. Operates plumbing tools and equipment. Maintains records and reports. UNIQUE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: May require lifting of 50 pounds or less. Work may involve exposure to chemicals and noxious fumes.
