About this plan
Hawaii's Department of Human Resources Development assigns every civil service class to a pay schedule and salary range, and publishes a salary schedule for each bargaining unit. The same range number pays differently in different bargaining units, so the unit is part of the join. Hawaii pays by the month; the range runs from the first to the last step printed for that range. Blue collar and Bargaining Unit 10 schedules print a single rate per range, so those classes show one figure. Excluded managerial and licensed health care classes have a published minimum and maximum.
